SIXTEEN YEAR OLD ALVA GETS ANYTHING SHE WANTS FROM HER FATHER, JENS
Why? Because he has money and likes to pay for expensive stilettos, handbags and clothes from all the exclusive brands. Jens believes that if Alva looks great and dresses well, she will attract the right sort of people. People who can give her a safe and gilded future.
Alva does not go to school, she only occasionally works for her father’s clothing company, and has plenty of time to keep her father’s platinum credit card warm. With her Rolex watch, exclusive mink fur and Louboutin stilettos, she broadcasts “success” even from a distance. But deep inside, Alva struggles with a resounding sense of emptiness. What would life really look like without Dad’s platinum card? And how do you make a decision about what you want when everyone around you expects you to be successful from the start?
