A social experiment in two episodes, where DR lets eleven unemployed Danes take up jobs often worked by foreign laborers.

Host Thomas Buch – Andersen investigates why so few of the 109,000 unemployed Danes are willing and/or able to embark on positions like these, given the fact that foreigners currently fill the equivalent of 123,000 full-time positions in Denmark.

What happens when 11 unemployed Danes become maids, salad pickers, workers, and waiters at five Danish companies that normally employ foreign labor?
Do the Danes want the jobs in the long run? Are the job requirements reasonable? Will the jobs pay off? And even if the Danes are willing and able to work, will they be hired? Or will the employers decide to keep the foreign workers?
