More than 70 years after the end of World War II, a number of witnesses from the German minority tell of a rarely described chapter in the Danish history of liberation after WW2.
After the liberation, about 3,500 men from the German minority were rounded up and placed in the Frøslev Camp as they had sympathized and cooperated with the German occupying forces.
This is a story about how the court settlement in Southern Jutland affected their families’ lives and had consequences for posterity.
The film contains a large amount of footage from the time of the occupation made by members of the German minority, which has never before been aired on TV.
