‘Denmark Plants Trees’ is the first fundraising show of its kind in the world.
The fundraiser, is a collaboration between TV2 and the Danish Society for Nature Conservation.
On Saturday (September 14th), the show will be broadcast live on TV 2. Puk Elgaard and Mikkel Kryger are hosting the event, taking call-ins from all over the nation as TV 2 with the help of all it’s Danish viewers try to reach the goal of being able to plant one million trees.
Not surprisingly, the story of how Denmark planted almost a million trees, has made headlines abroad. Medias in Europe, North America, Asia and Oceania have described the fundraising show as wildly innovative.
