BBC Studios Nordic is in the process of producing the third season of the original relationship and lifestyle concept for DR1, which has managed to become one of the biggest streaming successes in Denmark. The show has also gained international interest as an innovative and entertaining format, in which Big Love has so far been sold to 8 countries.

BBC Studios Nordic’s development manager, Birgitte Koefoed, says: “We have succeeded with a clear and significant premise about relationship kilos. We were allowed to get really close to the couple’s daily behavior of convenience. Something that for most, are a recognizable love and lifestyle situation, and a super relevant topic that is relatable to everyone and also addresses a universal problem within our society.
