BBC Studios Nordic picks up Andreas Bense, with a personal history as an editor for DR Ung and as a Digital Producer at Wibroe, Duckert & Partners.

“As the vast majority of all content is consumed digitally, especially in the younger target groups, we believe it is necessary to have an even stronger digital leg such as what we get with Andreas Bense. In addition, Andreas comes with a broad experience, which qualifies him in both fiction and non-fiction, says program director Maria Thastum

In addition to the digital focus, Andreas Bense will also contribute to the continued development of the Affordable Fiction genre. He will be involved in developing the genre in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Andreas will report daily to Fiction Manager Maria Hee, who states: “With the addition of Andreas Bense, BBC Studios Nordic gains someone who is used to thinking out of the box and challenging the conventions and who can do so while performing as a producer, show-runner and developer all at the same time.”

Andreas Bense says, “BBC Studios Nordic is an exciting company, they’ve made an excellent impression from the first meeting forward, and they offer an interesting and wide range of tasks across formats and genres.
