Cirkusrevyen is Denmark’s largest variety show. It can be found in the tent on Dyrehavsbakken near Klampenborg.
Ever since 1935, the Danes has every year, enjoyed entertainment, songs, dance numbers, and top satire at Cirkusreyven.
Except for 2020, of course as the show was canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
BBC Studios Nordic has been producing the show ‘Cirkusrevyen’ for DR TV since 2006, and are enormously pleased with the many years of collaboration between Cirkusrevyen director Torben “Træsko” Pedersen and the super talented team of performers, both those on stage and the many talented individuals behind it.
In addition, this year’s 2021 edition of Cirkusreyven marks artist Ulf Pilgaard’s 40 year professional anniversary. On stage besides Ulf this year, we can also find Merethe Mærkedahl, Niels Ellegaard, Niels Olsen, Henrik Lykkegaard and conductor James Price’s spirited band. Cirkusreyeven is truly a top – notch event, both in real life and on TV.
