THE STORY OF THE WITNESSES
Seventy years ago, more than 7,000 Jews had to flee from the Gestapo, leaving Denmark and find their way to Sweden.
The escape was a terrible experience. In “The Escape of the Jews: The History of The Witnesses”, you can hear a number of surviving Danes tell their stories about what happened in Denmark in October 1943.

On December 3, 2013, The Escape of the Jews will be showed at the Jerusalem Jewish Film Festival. The Danish Ambassador in Israel, Jesper Vahr, and one of the two instructors, Carl Otto Dethlefsen, will begin the screening.
