More and more women are having children without the involvement of men. At the same time, 20% of men over 50, will never become a father!
As women now control whether they want to reproduce and with whom, men have little chances of becoming a father (outside of adoption) if they have not found the right woman. As a result of this, Denmark is now experiencing some never heardof societal issues.
Over the course of two episodes, we follow four heterosexual men who have all reached a certain age without having the child(or children) they desperately want. We follow these men in their everyday lives and in their searches for foster mothers, rainbow mothers, part mothers, romantic relationships, etc. The four men raise the debate “is it fair that women just have children alone while men cannot?” Episode 2 ends with a call to all women in Denmark: “Will You Cary My Child?”
